Terms of Service

Welcome to ShowTiC. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ShowTiC mobile app and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using ShowTiC, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & accounts

  • You must be able to form a binding contract and meet the minimum age requirement in your jurisdiction.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
  • Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

2. Buying tickets

  • Tickets are issued as QR e-tickets after successful payment via Mobile Money.
  • You are responsible for presenting a valid ticket for entry. Organizers may set additional entry conditions.
  • Tickets may be transferable to other ShowTiC users where the feature is available.
  • Prices, availability, and event details are set by organizers and may change.

3. Organizers

  • To sell tickets you may need to complete organizer verification. You must have the right to host the event and sell tickets for it.
  • You are responsible for your event's accuracy, lawfulness, delivery, and for honoring valid tickets.
  • Events are published only after review/approval. We may decline, take down, or cancel events that breach these Terms or applicable law.
  • Ticket revenue is held in escrow during a 3-day buyer refund window, then released to your in-app wallet — or immediately when a ticket is bought within 3 days of the event — subject to platform fees.

4. Fees, payouts & refunds

  • ShowTiC charges a platform service fee on ticket sales, disclosed at the applicable time.
  • Payouts are made to your in-app wallet and may be withdrawn to Mobile Money, subject to verification and limits.
  • Buyers may cancel a ticket within 3 days of purchase for a refund to their ShowTiC wallet, less a cancellation fee. After this 3-day window — or for tickets bought within 3 days of the event — sales are final, subject to the event's policy and applicable law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for fraud, money laundering, or any unlawful purpose.
  • Create fake events, sell counterfeit tickets, or misrepresent yourself.
  • Attempt to breach, probe, or disrupt the Service's security or infrastructure.
  • Harass other users, or post unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit (such as event details and images). You grant ShowTiC a license to host and display it for the purpose of operating the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload.

7. Intellectual property

ShowTiC and its logos, design, and software are owned by ShowTiC and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. ShowTiC is a ticketing platform and is not the organizer of events listed by third parties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShowTiC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the conduct of organizers or attendees.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect users and the platform.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
